Our Story

First it all almost ended, then it all began...

KTH was named as a homage to my personal struggle with depression and suicide. My mantra to get through my toughest days, "Keep on truckin' home instead." was sometimes the only way I managed to drive home. One evening during a particularly challenging drive I used the homestead as a distraction from finding the largest tree trunk while speeding down the back roads on my way home. I wanted a name that held personal meaning and it wasn't until I was pulling into the driveway that I realized I'd been saying it the entire time... 'Keep on Truckin' HomeN'stead'.

It was this homestead that brought me out of the dark days and back to life. It started out in November 2019 as a simple hobby, to keep me from going back into depression and now it's evolved into something so much more. It's not a business, it's a way of life and a message to anyone else struggling to keep on truckin' home instead, wherever that may be.
